CIEL-USA
is a branch of CIEL, the International Center for
Liturgical Studies, a
Catholic
association
founded and
headquartered in France.
CIEL is represented in
countries
throughout the world,
particularly in
Europe and North America.
The
mission of CIEL is to:
• tap liturgical
expertise in the university and clerical domains,
• organize
liturgical research and studies around a particular theme
each
year,
• sponsor an annual 3-day international colloquium at which
liturgical research and studies are presented,
• publish the proceedings
from the annual colloquium,
• and disseminate the
published proceedings as widely as possible.
Training Opportunity for Priests and Seminarians in the Extraordinary Form
From Monday, May 19, 2008, through Friday, May 23, 2008, the Canons Regular of
St. John Cantius, in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Chicago will offer a
Traditional Latin Mass Training Workshop for priests and seminarians.
